Vhon Martin Tanto, the official suspect in Quiapo Shooting rage slay is arrested in Poblacion, Milagros, Masbate, Friday noon time.
According to Army Chief Lt. Gen. Eduardo Año, said Vhon Tanto was arrested at 11:40 a.m. in Barangay Poblacion East in Milagros town by combined elements of the Army's Intelligence and Security Group, 9th Infantry Division and local police.
Last Monday, July 25, 2016, at around 9:30 in the evening, Martin Joseph Garalde, the victim, and Vhon Tanto were seen in a fist fight for around 2 minutes which resulted to killing along P. Casal Street, Quiapo Manila.

Tanto, 39, was positively identified by witnesses through his pictures on social media.
Meanwhile, in Camp Aguinaldo, Armed Forces Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla Jr. said Tanto did not resist arrest.
Padilla added that Tanto is no longer part of the Army Reservist since he has not been attending meetings and events since 2015.
Before turning over to the Manila Police District, Tanto was brought to the 9th IB headquarters in Milagros, Masbate.
