Prototype MRT Trains Arrive from China for testing

As reported by DOTC, prototypes of MRT trains have already arrived here in the Philippines from China.

As reported by DOTC,  prototypes of MRT trains have already arrived here in the Philippines from China.

These prototype MRT Trains will be assembled by Chinese Engineers as discussed by The Department of Transportation and Communications. The agency also released some pictures and videos of the said prototype train.

“What is important to us is that the train cars, once delivered, will be safe and reliable. So we prefer to be thorough with the manufacture, assembly, checking, and testing of the prototype,” Abaya remarked.

We hope that all ordered 48 coaches coming all the way from China starting next year will indeed help in the ease of transportation here in Metro Manila. These 48 coaches are priced with more than P4 Billion pesos.
